Wow words

We are learning to add "wow" words to make our writing more interesting. We talked about how the sentence, "The owl flew to the nest," is plain and does not give the reader an exact picture of what is happening. We had to add "wow" words to our sentences to make them more interesting. 
Here are some examples:

The snowy owl darted down from the sky with wonder. - Paityn

The majestic black owl soared gracefully through the clear blue sky. - Kahu 

The magnificent owl drifted in the beautiful blue sky. - Anna

The owl floated to her nest to feed her chicks. - Annalena

The beautiful brown owl zoomed through the gigantic blue sky. - Jordan
