Writing - Adding conjunctions

We are learning to add conjunctions to simple sentences to make complex sentences. Mr Davidson gave us the sentence, "The mighty gorilla gazed into the distance." We added a conjunction to add more detail about the main idea of the sentence.

Here are some examples:

The mighty gorilla gazed into the distance until he saw food to eat. - Wyatt

The mighty gorilla gazed into the distance until dawn arrived. - Gemma

The mighty gorilla gazed into the distance as he chewed a piece of grass. - Cate

The mighty gorilla gazed into the distance while eating his food. - Luukas
